I have A problem with the video output of my PC.
When i turn my computer on everything seems to be running fine but there is no video output to my monitor. I have tried HDMI/DVI and it still doesn't work. I have a EVGA 760 GPU. I don't know what the problem is, maybe it could be the motherboard or the hard drive. FYI I already checked all the wires and they are not out of place.

Some Bios will have a setting for graphics. Using either onboard or PCI. It's something to look at. Have you tried hooking it up to something other then that monitor? Like a TV or another monitor? It's possible it's the card isn't sending the feed. Either thru the cable or from the card itself.

MSI as well as Gigabyte and others have had good stories as well as a few bad stories but there's always that chance.

So you still see the Bios at the startup, right? If that's true then it has to do with something after the bios. You might look and see if you have the most current bios for your mobo.

Well you need to get another video card to test out. Either a friends or buy one to test out. Or try to find a place like BestBuy that has some open box video cards cause you only need it for testing.

And nothing? Well that would mean that your GPU is bad unless the other system was bad as well. If the other GPU in the other system worked and didn't work in the problem system then it would be the mobo or the PSU. Do you have all the power connectors connected to the GPU? Even so there should be at least video for the post test bios screen.

Did the other GPU work in the other system?

It could be that you have a bad card, but most likely you don't have the correct driver installed on your computer. Windows might have the right driver in it's files, just go to the "add new hardware" icon on the control panel and see if it finds it. If not you amy need to look online and download it or buy a hard copy.

This happened during a move. It wasn't a bad driver and were already trying to find out if the card is bad or the mobo or PSU.
