My question is do you fixing the screen on the Asus is worth doing b/c it does not look like they made it easy ?.......and when my wife dropped it on the corner of the screen I don't think the actual screen is busted b/c I can see the picture great when you start it but you can't do anything b/c it doesn't reconize touch anymore .....is there another screen that covers the actual screen that I would have to replace to make it work if you could give me some education I would be in your debt!!!! lol

The "touch" sensors behind the screen have been damaged. You can't fix that by laying another screen over the top, it needs sending back to the manufacturer to have the screen removed and a new one fitted. Or if a suitable new screen can be obtained, the job can be done at home by a knowledgeable person.

Does the tablet have a USB accessory port (but not the one that's used for charging the battery)? If it does, you can probably plug a USB mouse in that and use mouse instead of touch.
