So I just installed my new 7870 everything was going well and I install the new amd drivers for it. Great I hook up my 2 monitors and both of the monitors have very large black borders around the edge of the screen. I look up how to fix this and to solve the issue you have to open Catalyst control software and edit your overscan but my CCC won't open! Please help

1) make sure windows has them both listed at the propper resolution
2) try to use the monitors self adjust settings... (should be an auto button or something)
3) could be an underscan issue... head into catalyst control panel, go to the display settings click the scaling option button and slide the slider to 0. should eliminate the boarder.
4) try rebooting the computer. might make the problem go away.

It's an underscan issue already figured this out, but I cant get CCC to open. It just wont open.

uninstall it and reinstall it. sounds like you might have a software issue more then anything. Try uninstalling all gpu drives and software, power down your pc, reboot and try again

I've done so multiple times, unfortunately I can't get ccc to load.

I was actually able to solve my issues by deleting all my AMD driver folders in safe mode then reinstalling the drivers in regular windows 7 mode.

I didn't have any old drivers installed. For some reason if I didn't uninstall my drivers to reinstall them in safe mode it didn't install correctly which was weird.
