so long story short i messed up cause i didnt know what i was doing, in the process of trying to fix this motherboard a piece came off.and when i went to solder it back i broke it. i need a new one but i dont know what it is and where to get it. i think its a resistor. its a 4x4 milimeters cube. there are no number on it either, what do you guys think?

also i burned the PCB in the last pic. is that bad? its right at the end and its only in a spot were it supposed to hold the power jack in place, not actually conduct anything" alt="" class="imgLz frmImg " />

Um *jaw drop* I'm not sure what to say here. Yes, burns on a circuit board are no bueno...no no bueno. I wouldn't be concerned with trying to find that part, not likely that you would anyways.

Here, www.newegg.com - buy a new motherboard :-)

It could also be an inductor or capacitor. hard to tell from pics. You cant solder it back on?
