my p50vt30b went off while watching it and will not restart I have disconnected the mains and when I repowered it up and pressed the on switch the light flashed green a few times then the red light started flashing 7 times can anybody help please?

Upon a brief search, it seems that 7 flashes, if you are sure it flashed 7 times, has been dubbed the "7 Blinking Lights of Death". Most unfortunate. If you are still under warranty, I suggest contacting your retailer or Panasonic (whoever the warranty is under) and have them fix or replace it. There are a few instructional how-to videos on YouTube in regards to fixing it yourself, but if you are not sure what you are doing, it probably is not worth taking apart yourself.
