tri gtx 770 vs dual 780

Need to run 4k @ 30-60 hz. What would be better, 3 770's at &300 each or 2 780's at $450 each? 780's have more ram but 770's seem much more powerful.

Go with SLI EVGA GTX 780 SC's w/ ACX http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CUIVSNS. When pushing that many pixels, 2GB VRAM won't cut it and the 780 will do better with 3GB.

VRAM does not stack in SLI so 3 x 2GB cards still = 2GB VRAM. The horsepower you obtain in SLI diminishes greatly over two cards so in every way, shape, and form the winner is SLI 780's for your setup.

This is for triple screen which is a little easier than 4K, maybe 10 frames or so more than you will get at 4k. Three way SLI has even more problems than two way, which is problematic already so i'd go with dual 780's.
