Whenever I am not using my laptop for a long period of time or I close the laptop, my computer makes me restart it. How do I get it to stop?? I have Windows 8 and all my settings have only been set to sleep. Also I'm having problems with Driver SQLR Memory or something along those lines when I try to play games like League. I have all other windows and things other than the game screen and sometimes skype (since I play with others) closed but my comp randomly freezes and goes to a blue screen. I dont understand how that is possible since I have 12 GB of RAM and neither process should take that much!! It never used to do this before and only lately started to happen. Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, it won't let me copy the shortcuts for you, stupid Dell, but here is the link to the drivers. Make sure Windows 8.1 64bit is the operating system selected and then scroll down and download and install the following drivers.

BIOS (If your BIOS version is less than A08)
All 3 chipset drivers
Mouse, keyboard and input devices (Synaptics touchpad)
Whichever of the graphics drivers applies to your laptop (Probably the Intel driver and one of the two AMD drivers depending on which graphics package you have. Check the specifications on your invoice. You likely have the dual graphics with Intel onboard and AMD GPU but double check that.)

Actually, you can install any of the drivers on that page that applies to your unit. Make sure it...

Windows 8.1
Inter(R) Core(TM) i7-4500U CPU
8.00 GB RAM ( i was wrong on this, but I should think this is still alot of data available to be used)
64 bit operating system with x64 based processor
Its a Touch Laptop (Dell Inspiron 15r).

You may have gotten a bad windows update as there has been a few of them lately that Microsoft has issued recalls for due to them causing BSOD's and freezes among other problems. I would recommend reinstalling all the base drivers for the system to make sure windows update didn't install a driver that your system doesn't like. You can download the following files and reinstall them to see if it clears up the issue. If not, we can proceed from there.

I'll need the EXACT model though. There are many sub-models of the 15r such as 15r 5520, 15r 5537, etc. It should be on a sticker on the laptop bottom, under the battery printed on the laptop case or on the packaging it came in.

Will that solve the first issue too? The force restart on closing the laptop lid issue. Also, I can't seem to find the details for my graphics driver. If I can find out, I was going to try this out this weekend.

Thank you for all of your help so far!

It might, it might not. There may still be a few things to sort out after making sure all the correct drivers are installed but that's the best place to start. When you don't have the correct chipset, graphics and BIOS versions installed it often makes it nearly impossible to correct any issues.
