new psu and case now wont start

Hello peep holes
my computer was working ok but i decided to get a new case and psu
both corsair the 500R case and RM650 psu i dont have a clue about wiring so not sure whats gone wrong when i try to turn the pc on the motherboard light is on but no case light and just a clicky sound from the board or psu area when i press the on button

Something is not plugged in or PSU is Borked.

-24 pin main MoBo power
-4 / 8 pin EPS cable near CPU
-GFX card cable(s)
-SATA Power cables
-OF / On Switch cables
-CPU Cooler Fan cable on CPU header ?

Are you sure you have all the PS cable hooked up correctly? You have the 24pin connector and the CPU (4pin or 8Pin) power connector properly plugged on to the motherboard? Perhaps try hooking your old PS up to see if the PS is bad.

my board is a z97pro
i have the big 20 something atx plugged in
the pci e plugged in periphials plugged in for drives and optic drive
from my h80i cooling block is plugged into usb on board and sata onto the chain
i had a ocz which was ok but someone said modular psus are good but this corsairs connections look sub standard compared to the ocz

THANK YOU EVERY1 who spent time to try and help me
i got up today scratched my head phoned the shop who told me to take psu back
i took off the pcie wire from board to psu and replaced with psu cpu input to same slot on board and hey presto
duuuurp its working
so i will definitely learn from this
