I've run hd tune pro and got this result about Reallocated sector count warning...but the error scan shows nothing.

How do I include a screen shot ??

Well it wouldn't hurt to replace that drive given the size and probable age. But you said your system is freezing and hanging. Are the freezes just a temporary thing or is this a whole system lockup that requires hitting the power/reset button. Another thing you could test is the system memory using an disk based application like memtest86 or memtest86+.

Links to their respective sites. You will likely need to use a CD for this as I don't know if your system is new enough to use the flash drive that I prefer using.

Depending on your HDD if it is a Western Digital or Seagate I would run either WDC DatalifeGuard or Seagate Seatools to get a second opinion on the S.M.A.R.T data from that drive.

NOTE: Reallocated sectors are not going to show on a surface scan of a drive as the drive's internal chips are making sure that area is no longer being used and instead has the drive reading/writing to a safe area. Mind you a large amount of reallocated sectors is not a good sign of drive health and is indicator that the drive should likely be replaced soon. The manufacturers drive utilities though would be the best tools to get an accurate reading from the S.M.A.R.T data of the drive.

Well Lenovo put the system together. Western Digital, Seagate, Samsung, Hitachi, or Toshiba are the ones that would have made the drive. HDTune Pro should be able to tell you who manufactured the drive or at least give you the appropriate model number for the drive that you could google for that information. Most OEM's will mass purchase a set of drives with a particular performance level from multiple drive makers and place them in OEM systems. So basically I have no way of knowing what is in your system even from the specs.

Sorry.... Seagate Barracuda series 7200 RPM ST380815AS / ST380811AS 80GB SATA
Do the numbers I posted mean that the drive is bad? Been having issues with it freezing and hanging, especially if I have more than one tab open at a time.
