Just been starting the task of getting parts together for a rendering workstation.

Will be using all linux based Photo stitching software, cad design, video rendering software, which uses Open CL based graphic cards to render final previews.

What is the best Open CL Card these days? I heard some smack talk that Nvidia doesn't really want open cl on their cards as they have CUDA.

I know AMD advertises open cl.

Would it be fair to say AMD Fire Pro W9100 is the best Open CL card on the market?

Thank you.

Some general info on the latest workstation cards.

These are gaming cards, but you can get an idea of the general trend.

Inquiry, I've been informed by CAD software that I'm buying to look for video cards that use opencl 64 bit. I heard nvidia used to have opencl only 32 bit on some cards, but honestly I've been out of the loop with opencl.

Is AMD opencl 64 bit on their cards? Any idea's how to find this out?
I mean running OpenCL 64 bit so it uses the full potential of a video card with larger than 4gb of vram.
