Alright so I have a 2tb Toshiba hard drive. When plugging it into my computer I apparently bent 2 of the pins in the port. Now the hdd won't receive power when I plug it in. Now I opened up the external case thinking I'd just put it in a different case, but the problem is that this particular external hard drive is that the 3.0 port is integrated into the PCB (which is the stupidest design ever). Now i know most of you will just tell me its a lost cause, buy a new one, but im a broke college kid who cant afford a new 2tb hard drive. So I was wondering if there was anyway I could ghetto rig the pins back, replace the whole USB port, really anything short of buying a new PCB and the only reason. I won't do that is because 95% of the time it doesn't work.
