I had a 3 way sli with 580s and now i have 2 780s. I was wondering if a 580 3gb as a physx gpu would help. I already need to upgrade my psu and my 580s are all liquid cooled so heat and power wont be that big of an issue. Im planning on getting either two 1440 monitors or a pg278Q.
780's in sli with 580 for physx.

I don't see it being necessary to keep the 580 for PhysX. Just sell it while it's still worth something.
