I've been looking into selling my laptop to put more money into a proper gaming PC. The problem is I have no clue what price to sell it at. Its In pretty good condition, with a few minor scratches on the back.

Here is a link to the specs of my laptop: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=ca&lc=en...

Congratulations! You have made it to the end of my post! However, I have rewarded you with a bonus question. Should I wait for DDR4 RAM and the 800 series graphics cards to come out before I build a gaming PC?

Thanks for the help :)

Used Refurbished models are going for ~375$ at the moment. I don't see why you couldn't get 350-400$ for it.

I honestly wouldn't wait. The difference in prices aren't going to be too drastic & New product = High price. If you have a good budget then it may be waiting for. But for performance-dollar ratio... I would get some current hardware.

Is that in American dollars? I from Canada so 375 American is about 410 Canadian.
