Hi everyone, I have a Entry level PC with Out Dated Processor - The build is -

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 2.93 Ghz
Gigabyte G41M-Combo
4 GB Corsair 1333 Mhz Ram DDr3
XFX HD 7770 Core Edition
Corsair VS 450
Western Digital WD10EARX - 1TB HDD
Toshiba 80 GB Laptop HDD for my Software .exe storage .

When I run Battlefield 3 then I can't take it above LOWEST Possible settings on 1600x900 Display and even on Lowest possible. The Game Freezes for 2 sec every 5 min.

I have a Ton of Data - Here is my Drive Status:

Drives of my WD HDD-
C Drive with Windows 8.1 - 29.6 Free out of 99.6
E Drive with my Songs, Movies ect - 33.2 Free out of 372
F drive with my Games and .iso files - 24.2 Free out of 458.

My Toshiba HDD -
D drive for my .exe files - 27.4 Free of 74.4

All Figures in GB. I have a Ton of Games Installed and I notice my Processor and HDD usage while Playing BF3 -

Processor 80% and Above
HDD - Constant 100%

Can anyone tell me what is happening ? Is it because of Out Dated Processor, Bad PSU or Too much of DATA and Installed Games ?

How to Fix it ? Even on Lowest possible on BF3 i'm getting less than 30 FPS :/

Please Help.

Solution
too much files doesnt matter. 1 - your cpu is old so that is bad because bf3 requires a good cpu 6 cores recommended ( or bf4 ). im not sure but i think its your cpu and you have 100% hdd usage like alot of people do try to do this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_Sr1CgtO58. if you have the money i hope you get a better cpu because the gpu is decent. as for the lag spikes it just happens if you dont have a "beast rig" :D

Solution
if you have a 64 bit os the cheapest upgrade you can do is add some more ram to help your cpu. (4g dimm to max your ram to 8g).
a cheap upgrade would be a newer case/power supply and mb combo and 8g ram stick.
if you have a local micro center the msi z97 and intel g3258 cpu is 99.00 combo deal. one 8g stick is 77.00 and r300 case is 45.00 after rebate and 600b power supply is 50.00 after rebate.
