So, I was about to get the SHAPPIRE R9 270 2GB, I went to the local and they were all sold out, instead, they offered me the XFX R9 270, pretty much the same price... But I was not sure, so guys, could you help me? Which one is better? Should I wait for the replenish of SHAPPIRE or should I just get whichever brand? Thanks.

I have used sapphire gpus for years without problems, I have tried 1 XFX gpu and it failed after 2 months of gaming. I would wait for the sapphire gpu.

Holy Molly, I didn't mean to pick as solution, lol.

Both are the same:

SHAPPIRE R9 270 2GB DDR5
XFX R9 270 2GB DDR5

I'll try to make up for the "Best solution"

I meant which specific cooler is it? Because I know Sapphire has multiple cooling models (Dual-X, Tri-X, Vapor-X, Reference blower). Can you send me a link/image to the specific Sapphire card?

I unselected for you.

I would count the two cards as equals. The guts come from the same place.

I have a method to pick between equally performing products.
Go to newegg and find the candidates.
Filter on the most reviews by verified buyers.
Then look at what percent of the reviews have one or two eggs indicating some sort of a problem.

XFX has great power supplies because of them being made by Seasonic , But for a card between these to I'd go Sapphire.

Sapphire's cooling model is Dual-X. I'm not sure about XFX's

I've done quite a bit of research on brands in such.

XFX, is probably one of the tier 1ish brands. They seem to be trusted and make good cards. But most of the people I talk to about this, say that Sapphire is the best brand for AMD graphics cards. Sapphire seems to have been around a while, and make good coolers.

The better brand is Sapphire, especially with the Dual-X cooling system that they put on the card.

This might help.

Agreed. I'd go with the Sapphire. Dual-X seems to work well with everything except the R9 280X
