So back in march me and my husband (Who are not noobs to PC software and hardware, between him, myself, and his mother, we have 40 years collective experience.) Bought me a nice new set of parts to build me a desktop. I'm going to type up the specs exactly as they show in properties:

Processor: Intel Core 15-4570 CPU @ 3.20GHz 3.00GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00GB (7.79 GB usable)
System type: 64-bit OS (Windows 7 Home Premium OEM)
Video card: GeForce GT 620
HDD: WD Blue 1 TB. With more than half empty.
Yes I have DirectX 11 installed,
all the updates for flash AND the videocard are applied.
I've also made sure my virus protection software was not blocking the programs.
And yet NO Facebook games will work (Yes I have unity installed)
And games like portal 1, Garrys Mod, Skyrim, Amnesia A machine for pigs, Slender The Arrival, Slender the eight pages, and MTG Duel of the planeswalkers 2013 work,
But;
Mass 1, 2, and 3 will not. Neither Borderlands works, Goat simulator wont work, portal 2 wont work etc etc... I'm at my wits end. I've tried everything and it's not just steam and origin, SWTOR wont work either and I got that off the official website.
All things things work fine on my 5 year old laptop. I've had my family who are computer as well as some friends who work on computers for a living and no can seem to figure it out.
