Anything wrong with getting a used graphics card?

I am playing to make a build but I do not want to spend much, IF I buy a used graphics card will that make it perform less then if it's new? Because it will be other by previous owner..

If it's an AMD Radeon HD 9xx or 79xx card that was abused for crypto-currency mining then you'd probably want to avoid those.

No it will perform the same (provided its not faulty), mechanical components such as fans ect will fail before anything else but they are easily replaced. I bought 2 second hand gtx 560's for both my sons PC's and they are as good as new. Read descriptions ect before you purchase.
