Upgrading from apu build to fx series. What do you think of this?

So I recently build my first gaming rig on my own and decided I wanted to go a bit more all out on it. I decided to stick with AMD because of budget reasons and I'm becoming more familiar with the brand. I currently have a Richland apu setup and am moving to an FX series build. So I'll list both rigs first:

Current:
ASUS a55bm-plus/CSM
AMD Richland A10-6800k Black Edition
Stock AMD CPU Cooler
G.Skill Sniper 2133 DDR3 RAM (8gb)
ASUS Radeon 6870
Kentek 700w PSU (crap, I know)
Apevia X Sniper 2 Mid Tower Chassis

New (with some current parts):
ASUS Crosshair V Formula
AMD FX 8350 Black Edition 4.0ghz
Zalman CNPS5X Performa CPU Cooler
G.Skill Sniper 2133 DDR3 RAM (12gb)
MSI R9 270x Gaming 2gb
Corsair TX650w PSU (maybe go modular?)
Apevia X Sniper 2 Mid Tower Chassis

I also am waiting for a used ASRock extreme9 mobo to show up anyday now. Only bought it because it was $100 on ebay and figured I'll keep whatever would be best for a slightly more future proofed build.

Any suggestions or changes I should make to get the most out of my build? Which motherboard should I stick to? Haven't built it up yet so any advice would be great. Thank you all for taking a moment of your time to help me out :)

You already have great choice of your parts. If you can lend more money to your build, try to go for R9 280X instead.

But overall your build is great. It's better to have the FX8350 than the APU A10-6800k.

P.S: There is no such thing as Future Proof as technology always upgrade each year, we don't even know if the FX8350 would be sufficient in 3-4 years... it really depends. xD
