Hello

I apologize in advance for such a silly question.. :??:

Please forgive me, but I am a more than a bit confused on the built in fan controller on the H440 case. Looking at, I can see a molex connection and a fan connection. I am very confused as to if I plug the fan controller into a molex, or into my motherboard. There is also two.. "3-pin fan extension cables" (for lack of a better word). I am not sure If I plug this into my motherboard for power, or if it is an extension. Do I plug in the molex cable to my PSU, or the 3-pin into my motherboard?.. Or both!? I really need this thing broken down for me.

Thank you for everyones thoughts and ideas, this really means a lot to me.

Gavin

You plug in the molex hanging from your fan controller to your PSU's molex power. And when you have that done just plug in your fan fan connectors to the 3 pin connectors hanging from your fan controller.

Do I need to plug anything into my motherboard?

no if you want to use the fans from the fan controller than you just plug the fans in the fan controller if you want to use them with your motherboard then you know just plug your fans were you have space and enought fan connectors.
