Can't update my win 8 to 8.1.

I decided to update my windows 8 to 8.1. I went to the marketplace through start screen, there was the picture with "Update to Windows 8.1 for free" text. So i downloaded it, started to reboot, but after that a blue screen poped up very fast, that i couldn't read, after that the screen said: restore previous versions of windows.
I tried updating my OS 4 times, i disabled my avast antivirus, but still get this error.

I couldnt read the blue screen becouse it just flashed up a min, but after the restore previous version i got this message: 0xC1900101 - 0x40017.

I downloaded the nvidia driver that is on the page you linked, but still cant update OS. I downloaded this: http://windows.microsoft.com/hu-hu/windows-8/upgrade-assistant-download-online-faq
Its a compatibility checker, and i have uncompatible program called AMD Dual-core optimizer. This thing is not compatible with windows 8.1. Should i remove it?

I removed amd dual-core optimizer, disconnected my headphone, downloaded Windows Update Troubleshooter, that is done something but after all i still cant update to 8.1. I also downloaded ccleaner, but didnt help.

Did you use the upgrade assistant?

Maybe in safe mode get rid of anything that isn't compatibel.See if it works after that.

except the Reginout part, becouse its not free, and without Reginout, i did not help.

Install Bluescreenview, and it'll tell you the blue screen.

Why am I seeing a "Get Windows 8.1 for free" notification?

If you're running Windows 8, you'll likely see a periodic notification to update to Windows 8.1. The first time you receive the update notification, you'll have the option to go to the Windows Store where you can begin the process of updating to Windows 8.1. If you dismiss the notification, you'll receive reminders once a week for the first month, and then twice per month until you update.

You won't see the update notification if:

•Your PC isn't eligible for the Windows 8.1 update through the Windows Store (such as a PC running an Enterprise version of Windows 8).

•You tried to update to Windows 8.1 and had a problem that caused you to roll back to Windows 8.

•You haven't installed KB update 2885699 from Windows Update. For more info, see Why can't I find the update in the Store?

I thik they mean it comes in to you on your computer like a update
