I got 1866 Ram, but MSI afterburner shows it only uses 1400 in all games

Do i waste any performance ? i know ram does not increase fps much, but i mean does ram gives all he can ? Did i missed something in BIOS ?

Even if you have 1866 Mhz Ram modules the bios settings is what define the speed of your ram. It's not enought to have a 1866 module plugged in the main board to have it working at the full speed of the module.

You need to modify the clock speed in the bios if you have it unlocked (that also modify the speed of the processor) or the multipler of the memory, take care that the CAS settings varies with the speed, the more speed of the module usually the higher the CAS you need to use to have the memory stable.

If your Bios have XMP settings for memory you could also use one that works at 1866.

well i have changed in BIOS from 1333 to 1866 is that what you ment ?

Yep, but just as a note because i don't known what do you have changed the speed of a RAM in the bios is related to another settings (mainly the CAS) and you couldn't change the first without changing the others (that's why was added the XMP profile that changes all the values). For example a module that could work at CAS-7 at 1333 could need a CAS-9 at 1866.

I you have some problems after changing the memory speed like blue screens, resets, etc... maybe you changed the memory speed but not the CAS, it's not the easiest thing but a good memory overcloking manual could help a lot then.
