Computer randomly shutdown a few times, now it won't start

I built my own computer not so long ago, and it was working fine for just over a month. However, recently it started to shutdown randomly, as if I was having a power cut. It didn't matter if it was 5 mins or 5 hours since startup, it just crashed. And now, 3 days after the first random shutdown my pc won't start at all. I see the case fans spinning but nothing else is working. I thought it might be my power cord so I got a new one, but that didn't fix it.

My PC specs: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/kdQWzy

Has any one any ideas of what might be causing this? And if you do a solution would be greatly appreciated.

This is going to be without much doubt related to the power supply you have in the system.
If you bought a cheap power supply for $25 or pounds ect .
Then its a sign of a cheap power supply.
You have not listed your specs of your system.
When a power supply goes, it does not often go in a puff of smoke but what you were seeing.
It becomes temperamental, then gives up the ghost all together.

Wattage is important in a power supply, but amps are just as important.
A good tell tale sign of a cheap power supply is often is stated wattage, with a very low amp rating on the 12v power rails.
Of 16 to 14 amps.
Its the core component of any pc since it drives everything else inside the case.
If you factor that in random shut downs, at random times means a bad, or cheap quality power supply not up to the job of powering the components inside your computer. The more load you put on a cheap power supply the less stable it is.
Even if your tempted to skimp on the cost of it don`t.
Because for the sake of spending more money on a good power supply.
When you buy a cheap one you can go though two or three. before you work out why people stress to always get a well known trusted brand.
If you add the cost up of three cheap power supplies, Vs Getting a good quality one then it makes sense, for reliability, quality, safety features. and smooth stable power distribution.

The Psu you have needs to be replaced.
If you bought a cheap non good quality known brand.

Specs are on the main post.
Is there one you could recommend for the PC that I have?
Thanks for the answer too!
