Overclocking memory from 1600Mhz to 1866Mhz?

Hi.

I've been having some problems with frame drops and I have no idea why so I'm going to try and buffer up my memory a little more to get the ball rolling on some aspect of making it better.

My specs are below
8GB (2x4GB) Dual Channel G.Skill 2133Mhz ripjawsX series.
AsRock 990fx Extreme3 Motherboard
AMD Fx-8320 w/ Cooler master Hyper 212 Evo

Since I've been having frame drops during games, I can think my XFX Radeon 7970 3GB DD edition GPU is possibly using all it's memory and I suffer the loss in frames (It fluctuates) I made a different thread on that about it - http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2268859/frames-dropping-game.html

Here is also a screenshot currently of CPU-Z memory tab.

The processor I'm using has a max of 2400Mhz DDR3 and the motherboard I have supports Dual Channel DDR3 2100(OC). So I'm bottlenecked minorly by my motherboard but only by a fraction.
I was wondering what I need to do to ramp up my memory to get them both running in 2133Mhz? and If I do get them running at those speeds, am I going to run into problems because of the approx 33Mhz difference (Such as no blue screen errors?).

Where do I start from? I've not really overclocked my memory as such but I'd be grateful if someone could help me understand and just walk me through it! :)

Cheers!

Not exactly meant for FX but this's the most accurate tutorial:

Also, look at the best answer here (2nd para):

Just search up for Adjusting RAM speed AMD FX and you'll get tons of good results, sorry can't give you the best ones hand-picked by me, running a bit busy lately. The ones I mentioned shall give you some idea though, its really easy:
Go to BIOS, Memory settings or any settings with similar name and adjust the freq as stated in the above links in accordance with your 2133MHz :)
You're getting the stuff about CPU and MoBo wrong,

Firstly, FX 8xxx supports 1866MHz officially, but more often than not supports 2133MHz. That MoBo is a very good one indeed and supports 2100MHz max speed.

Secondly, RAM speed up from 1600MHz hardly affect gaming and 33MHz difference would not be supported by MoBo.

You might just want to get the memory clock up to about 1866MHz and 1.5V, go through this:

Thank you very much! :) The information I was a bit lazy and went to shopping sites to see what they advertised instead of looking at my manual in the box. Complete wrong information and I suspected so when I was reading it to myself. I'll take a look at bumping it up to 1866Mhz

I would still need the help on bumping it up to 1866Mhz however. Not at all familiar with the clock speeds etc, where can I find the best tutorial on this?
