Here's my first build. I know I missed on a few marks. Overall I'm pretty happy as far as gaming and overall performance. I was wondering everyone's opinion was on the best bang for my buck towards my next upgrade.

MSI 970A- g46
FX-6300 OC to 3.9
Kingston hyper X 8gb
EVGA GTX 770
XFX 650W
Corsair H100
Seagate SSHD 2 TB
NZXT Phantom 410 with a few extra fans
Windows 8.1

Im guessing upgrading my motherboard and CPU would be the best thing to do. Please let me know your thoughts.

Also my computer flickers on my 65 inch vizeo. Only on the desktop, gaming and movies are fine. Has anyone had this problem?

Thank you

I would change the motherboard and CPU if it is in the budget. Everything else is quite good.

Thanks tiny voices, you were a big help in my build in the first place. In what your opinion what would be the best MOBO\CPU to improve graphics without being over kill on my bank account. (Not looking for the cheapest just don't want unnecessary overkill)

Well, you won;t really be improving graphics to be honest. At most if you switch to a locked i5 (4460) and a h97 motherboard you MIGHT be able to expect 5-10fps in SOME games that are CPU bound. other games will show no difference.

Understood, Im guessing RAM wouldn't improve much either. Just upgrading my graphics card? Why does everyone lean towards high overclocks as much as they do?

No, changing to 16gb RAM will do NOTIHNG for games at all. huge waste.

Most people overclock as a hobby, not for performance gains. For example, I get the exact same FPS in game at 4.5ghz as I do at 3.4ghz(stock). It is just fun to say you are at 4.5ghz stable.

Makes sense. So basically if I want better graphics I need a new card. Would two 770's SLI be the way to go or just wait and get the next top end card to come out

You could get SLI 770s but you need a board that can do it, and technically yours can, but the 6300 will be a big bottleneck on two 770s.

I would get an i5 and a good motherboard before adding any more GPU power.
