Hi. I am Vimal.

My Pc workstation config is :-
Sabertooth 990FX R.2 MotherBoard
8150 Bulldozer Black Edition Processor
160 GB Sea Gate Hard Drive - OS Files
1TB Western Digital Hard Drive - Secondary storage
FirePro V5900 Graphic Card
4 x 4 Ram 16Gb DDR 3
650 watts Smps
Cooler Master II Ad cabinet

I would like to add one more hard drive upto 6TB internal desktop hard drive.
Is there any compatibility issues with this?
Which brand should I choose? Seagate or Western Digital?
How much the RPM should be?

Suggest me the best one...

Thank you
regards
Vimal

If you want more storage you can get it without any problems. The only thing that can stop you is if you are using all of your sata ports and there is no space. In this case you have enough so you are good. Also you should go for Western Digital 6TB Red or 4TB Black and 7200RPM is the standard you should not get 10000 RPM because in that case getting an ssd would be smarter. When you get the drive just open your case connect the SATA cable from the bottom right of your motherboard to your HDD and the SATA POWER CABLE from your power supply to the HDD.

Thanks.
If I go for HDD, I will be getting 6TB. In case of SSD, there no more than 512 GB is available.
What I can do in this case?

SSD's are much more expensive so if you want 6TB of SDD storage you will need to get 6 1TB SDD's which will cost you like $3000. An HDD is more practical but it takes longer to transfer your files. I recommend a 1TB SDD if you want speed and a 6TB HDD if you need alot of storage.
