I just recently bought a Kingston Hyper X 8gb (2x4gb). The pc runs perfectly with its old 2GB setup but with even 1 of the 4gb i use, PC seems to boot fine but at starting windows (Windows 7 64bit) it crashes (BSOD). When i put in both the new rams (total of 8gb) I get initializing USB controllers and PC freezes there.. Any Solutions guys please help me out...

My System.
Biostar TH55b HD Mobo
Ram as mentioned above
Power supply antec 450W continuous
Harddisk 3tb and a 500gb
Graphics is a Nvidia GTX 660
Samsung CD/DVD rom.

Thanks....

Hello, I'm Jewel with Kingston Technical Support. If you are using new Kingston HyperX memory, it is not compatible with your system. Our 4GB memory modules are high density aka single rank which is not supported by Intel 5-series chipsets or pre-Sandy Bridge iCore processors. We do not currently support your system as we are no longer able to manufacture memory that is compatible with it. I recommend returning the memory to your place of purchase, if you are unable to we can work something out with you. You can checked our discontinued memory search for your motherboard to see if you can find any of the discontinued compatible memory still our on the market, here: http://www.kingston.com/us/memory/search/discontinuedsystems/Default.aspx . For further assistance, please call us at 1-800-435-0640 (USA and Canada only) M - F 6am - 6pm PT and I or another available Technician will assist you. For other area contact information, check International Contact Information here: http://www.kingston.com/us/company/contacts

Thank you for selecting Kingston as your upgrade partner.
