My gf's laptop wont connect to wifi in certain locations. It works perfectly fine at my house and most other wifi spots, but at her job it wont connect, and at her apartment it only connects some of the time. Both our cell phones, her daughters phone, and her roku box have no problem connecting to the wifi in her building, its just her laptop that has the issue, and it only seems to happen at her job, or in her apartment. I know that the router at her job is an apple airport, and everyone else there has apple computers. I have no idea what kind of router is being used at her apartment, its a shared network between all the tenants, so the router is in some location we don't have access to. Her computer is a toshiba satellite L505D. If anybody could shed some light on this issue for me, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Solution
Check the type of connection and encryption being used on a machine that works, and make sure the laptop is set the same way (e.g. WPA2 vs. WPA vs. WEP and TKIP vs. AES).
You say it connects "some of the time" at her apartment, so it might just have poor antennas (or they may have come loose internally).
