System Image from one computer to another

Hi,
So my friend has corrupted many system files on his windows 7 PC. He used System File Checker and that didn't help, and he has a system repair disc, but he has made no System image of his PC so it has nowhere to go back to. My question is if I can make a System Image on my PC and have him use that.

No.. generally wont work.. the image of your machine will have drivers for your motherboard etc.. so unless he has same mobo.. windows will probably not fire up on his machine..
Why he not just backup his data and do a clean install of windows?
