Are you trying to render 12 chunks at a time or something?

no mods, just default, it tries to stay at 50 but drops to 35 frequently.

If vsync is on, turn that off.

Try lowering the particles and smooth lighting. If that doesn't work, try lower the rendering distance to 5.

Minecraft is terribly optimized, and it is written in Java. Enough said.

Yes, we know that but there are still some optimizations that can be done to improve performance.

Vsync is not on,
I tried lowering everything but it seems like its still choppy, it says now 70fps however It doesnt seem it. :/

Minecraft depends on Java and OpenGL. OpenGL comes with the Nvidia graphics driver. Update your graphics drivers and Java to the latest versions.

Check your GPU and CPU usage while playing. I suspect you'll see very low GPU usage, likely caused by Minecraft being completely rendered in software, because you lack OpenGL drivers.

Do you have your frame limiter set to a certain FPS?

Updating drivers/Java is still worth a shot, but based on your other responses (35-70 fps, choppy), your problem may be elsewhere. Your CPU usage while playing Minecraft is probably at or near 100%, and may be your problem.

Update your graphics card, DirectX, and your OS (if necessary). Use OpenGL (if your video card is compatible with it). Make sure you set your Performance settings (in-game) to Max FPS. If you want to generally increase Minecraft's performance across the board, you should try and install Optifine.

It is recommended not to use Far Render distance on a 32-bit Java client. If you have a 32-bit Java client, get a 64-bit Java client if you continue using Far Render distance.

If the problem persists after all these steps are taken, try it on Normal Render distance and see how much it works.

Also, Minecraft generally does not have the best FPS, and I haven't heard of anyone being able to get more than 100 FPS. I am not sure if that's impossible, but it may not be

i found this on a minecraft site...

It depends on the system and it's configuration on what your fps will be like. I've been able to get up to 400 - 500 fps on vanilla Minecraft.

Probably. Minecraft is a CPU heavy game (unlike most games), and your CPU is definitely the weakest part of your system. Optifine should help out. Try using Java 8 x64.
