Hello, I was hoping someone could give me some help. I'm looking to purchase a new laptop within the next week. I appreciate the help :)

1. What is your budget?
~$900

2. What is the size of the notebook that you are considering?
13.3 inches

3. What screen resolution do you want?
1920 x 1080

4. Do you need a portable or desktop replacement laptop?
Portable

5. How much battery life do you need?
6+ Hours

6. Do you want to play games with your laptop? If so then please list the games that you want to with the settings that you want for these games. (Low,Medium or High)?

7. What other tasks do you want to do with your laptop? (Photo/Video editing, Etc.)
Microsoft Office, note taking, Netflix, Youtube, Listening to music

8. How much storage (Hard Drive capacity) do you need?
No preference

10. How long do you want to keep your laptop?
As long as possible

11. What kind of Optical drive do you need? DVD ROM/Writer,Bluray ROM/Writer,Etc ?
I don't need an optical drive

12. Please tell us about the brands that you prefer to buy from them and the brands that you don't like and explain the reasons.
I like ASUS and Samsung. I'm not excluding any brands except Apple

13. What country do you live in?

I was looking at the ASUS Zenbook UX303LA-DB51T. I wasn't sure if this is the best choice for the price. I was also wondering about Samsung laptops.

ASUS Xenbook doesn't have a dedicated GPU, just the onboard graphics of the intel chip. You aren't going to be able to find a standard laptop or ultrabook that can really last 6 hours on battery. There are a few small dockable tablets that have dual batteries that do, but again they would not have discrete GPUs.

The game you want to play doesn't seem to have any system requirements that any off the shelf laptop won't meet. You could spend a lot less.

Here is what I like to do to get ideas:

Go to Newegg and filter by CPU, GPU, and screen size. That will let you look at a whole bunch of laptops fairly quickly.
