when i try to change AHCI mode to IDE mode to setup Windows XP
i am unable to change it is locked to change
i need any way to do please

Try resetting the BIOS.

On a PC remove the AC Power cable, open the case, remove the BIOS battery, press and hold the power button in for a full minute... wait 5 to 10 minutes and put the battery and power cable back on. You can also reset the BIOS by removing the power cable, moving the mobo BIOS jumper from pins 1 and 2 to pins 2 and 3, press the power button and hold it in for 15 seconds and reset the jumper to pins 1 and 2.

On a PC or Laptop you can also reset the BIOS to failproof default setting (and ignore about removing the battery). As you start the computer and the brand logo comes on screen, press DEL repeteadly untill you read something like ¨entering setup¨... In the BIOS follow the instructions on screen to set it to...
