First off id like to say I have no idea where this issue should be posted so I apologize if it's under the wrong section.

Anyways, I just got my new heatsink (hyper 212 evo) and the backplate can't be mounted properly due to my HAF 932 case cutting off access to the bottom 2 stand offs. I don't think I'll be able to reach them let alone tighten them if I can. I'm at a tough issue here and I'm not sure if I can bypass it or even install a heatsink. I'd rather not be forced to dismount the entire motherboard for this.

Here is a picture to describe my issue. Any help would be great.

you may need to remove the board to install the sink..

judging by the pic the MB needs to be removed. kinda lame that the haf-x and 922 give way more room

that's what I find its got the hole for this but its not enough room to do it and you end up removing the board

Seems like I had to dismount the moba as stated. But now with the heatsink installed my PC fails to start...

go back over things to be sure you did not miss something ... and I guess you did not damage something trying to wrangle it in before you removed the board??

double check all your fan connections and go over everything again.
