I am at 75-80w which brings my temps up to the 60's and i am on balanced mode with NO oc. i enabled instel speedstep even though it was on auto, but it didnt help. i am in the 30's when idle. core temp says i am 3999.65mhz the entire time when playing bf4. I assume thats the turbo boost, but does it really consume that much power? I switched mobos yesterday, but I mean i dont think that would be the issue. when i exit the game my wattage goes down to 15-20w and then my frequency jumps around, but its no longer stuck at 3999.65
