I use i5-4670k. Which is the best cooling of the offered: Cooler Master V8 GTS, Noctua NH-D14, Noctua NH-C14, Phanteks PH-TC14PE, Cooler Master Seidon 120M? Which is the best?

Noctua NH-D15

I'm partial to the Phanteks though since they offer a few color choices.

Best cooling would be a custom water block and loop.

What case and fan cofiguration are you using?

Also please define "Best" - absolute lowest temps in an open air test, absolute lowest temps in XXX case, best bang for the buck, or ...?

-Best Air Coolers (Thermal Performance) - Cryorig R1 Ultimate > Noctua DH-15 > Phanteks PH-TC14-PE > Noctua DH-14 > Any 120mm/140mm CLC cooler

This differences between the 1st four are < 1C. Considering Installation, aesthetics, price, etc, Best Air Cooler I would have to give to the Phanteks.

-Best AIO Water Cooler = Swiftech 220-X > all 240/280mm CLCs and all air coolers.

-Best Cooling = Custom Water Loop which the Swiftech 220-X is the start of. You can "open the loop" on the 220-X and add MoBo Blocks, GFX Card Blocks, RAM Blocks, etc.

There is another Air Cooler to consider. The Thermaltake Frio Extreme. In reviews it traded blows an beat the
Phanteks and Noctua Nh-D14 in more than one review. So I tried it out on My FX 9590 and it more than does the job.
It is a Big Beast though. I know it can handle 5.166 Ghz maybe a little more.

I can't Decide between Phanteks PH-TC14PE, Noctua NH-C14, Noctua NH-D14, CM Seidon 120M(Water Cooling), Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer, or Cooler Master V8 GTS. First tell me Wheter it is better to i5-4670K, water or air cooling?

See above, gave you recommendations

Coolermaster V8 - If ya like "bling", buy it. if ya want good thermal performance, it's very poor compared to the others which is why it got a 7.1 rating in the review.
http://benchmarkreviews.com/4608/cooler-master-v8-gts-1...

Seidon - There is no AIO w/ 120/140mm rad made that approaches the performance of the long standing "Big 3" (Phanteks, DH-14, Silver Arrow)

Phanteks - top tog among your list

DH-14 - most often gets 3rd place behind the Phanteks and Silver Arrow

C14 - Not as good as its big brother

As I indicated in the two previous posts...

-No, I would not buy the the V8 GTS cooler.... it looks very nice but has very poor thermal performance. If the flashy lighty thingie floats ya boat and you don't care about the thermal performance then buy it. Did you read the review ?

-No, I would not buy the Seidon or the Thermaltake or any AIO other than the Swiftech 220-X. The 120/140mm ones can't keep up with the Phanteks. The 240/280mm ones at similar Fan rpms don't top the Phanteks ..... the ones that do top the Phanteks are louder than my vacuum cleaner.

-No, I would not buy the Noctua DH-14as it is edged out by the Phanteks, is more expensive than the Phanteks and, to my eyes, is quite fugly.

-No, I would not buy the Noctua C-14 as it is edged out by the Phanteks and the DH-14

In summary:

Of all the air coolers, you mentioned or which were mentioned by others in this thread, the Phanteks is the one I'd buy.....See above image as to why

Of the air coolers not mentioned, as I said above, the Noctua DH-15 and Cryorig R1 Ultimate should be considered.

There is no 120/140mm AIO water cooler which can match the performance of those air coolers. There are 280mm water coolers which do match the Noctua and almost catch the Phanteks that run at comparable noise levels to the Phanteks / Noctua .... Example would be the H110.

Every 240/28mm AIO is completely outclassed by the Swiftech 220-X ... it beats the best of the best of them and does it at 1/4th the sound level. It also beats every air cooler out there including the Cryorig and even edges them in noise.

I'll Porbably buy Phanteks PH-TC14PE or Thermaltake Water 3.0 Performer.
Thanks for the help..
