How much power does my PSU need?

Solution
Are you putting a dedicated graphics card in it as well or just using the integrated graphics on mothboard?

If using integrated graphics a 300 watt psu should be fine, just want to a get a decent brand. Dont go cheap on the part that can destroy everything else in your computer. An Antec Basiq or Earthwatts psu would be good. If you dont plan on gaming then a Corsair CX430 would be a good PSU as well and is always on sale. For gaming they are not good psus because they are proven to have capaciors that go bad under heavy load, but for general/office computer use they are just fine.

Just out of interest would it do any harm if I went any higher say 400 watts?
