Can UDIMM memory sticks be used in a computer that currently uses DIMMs? I understand I would need to replace rather than add, but will the MB accept the UDIMMs?
The DRAM should have a label on it with the model #, or if it's in a system can use CPU-Z (free utility program) check the motherboard tab and Part Number should show the model, same with the DRAM
It's just identifying the DRAM as an Unbuffered DIMM which is the coomon type of DRAM used for non-servers, so would prob be fine, could tell more with the model # of the DRAM, maker and what mobo you want it for

Thank you for providing an answer. Where would I find the model # of the DRAM and what is DRAM? I know that RAM is random access memory. Also, what is "mobo"? It seems you are expecting a level of knowledge that I do not have.
