Looking for a Wifi Adapter

I am looking for a usb wifi adapter I do not have a PCIe slot on my mobo. I need a USB one. any suggestions on a good USB wifi adapter I am on a small to medium budget. Also the internet is VERY slow so i need a card that has very good connectivity and will not have trouble getting a connection. Finally there are about 6 or 7 people in my house at a time so i need a card that is able to get as much of the wifi as it can.

I prefer USB adapters that come with a "cradle" or an extension-cord ability, similar to this ASUS:

or
TP-Link-TL-WN822N-300Mbps-Wireless-USB-Adapter.jpg

but there are other products from other vendors. "The best" is too subjective because of the Wireless Router's signal, the distances, the amount of interference, etc. I've found as good of performance from low-end purchases as the most expensive in any class ('N" class, "G" class).
