I recently built a computer around an old Gateway FX6800 01 computer motherboard. I got the appropriate RAM, processor, and all the works. But when I plugged in my new monitor and the power source today and pressed the power button, the PSU's fan would run for about a minute and then turn off. Nothing else. Quite fantastic really seeing as a couple of weeks of finding the right parts and 3 days of just building it amounted to a fan working.
