I've finally built my first gaming pc after about 5 months of gathering money. I'm 14 yrs old and have learned a lot about computers and stuff. I wanna overclock but don't know how to. Here's my specs
Case: Corsair 200r
Psu: Corsair cx 500
Cpu: Amd fx 6300 black edition
Motherboard: Asus m5a99fx pro r2.0
Heatsink: cooler master hyper 212 evo
Graphics card: xfx r7 260x double dissipation
Storage: 2 wd cavier blue 500gb hdds samsung 840 evo 120gb ssd

I wanna get the most out of my computer. I wanna get my cpu speed frequency to around 4.5 ghz to 5.0 ghz please show me how to achieve that like a step by step thanks

Start out by simply raising the CPU clock multiplier a click at a time (in BIOS), testing with something like Intel Burn Test or Prime95 between increments. Always watch Core temps so it doesn't get too high. In fact I prefer using AMD Overdrive to monitor Thermal Margin instead. http://www.techspot.com/downloads/4645-amd-overdrive.html
Eventually, you will reach a point where the PC fails to boot or your stress testing fails. Then you can either back off and live with that or take the vcore up a tad to make it stable again.
