Cant make same mistake

Hello all,
i am currently looking into buying a new gpu, and i made the mistake of buying a crappy card last time, was wondering if anyone could give insight on this card here:

What im wondering is, if there are any equivalent cards with a better rating, such as nvidia instead of AMD, or if there is something better in the same price bracket, preferrably no more than $250

The link shows a list of pci 3.0 cards, which one were you looking at specifically?

Anyhow, I'd grab the R9 280 that i7 listed. At that price I would just forget about the 270, even if you have to borrow 20 bucks from somewhere.

Price is probably your best indicator of card capability.
All $250 cards will perform similarly.
Don't sweat differences that show up on synthetic benchmarks.

At that price, I think you are looking at a GTX760 or R9-280.
