so I finished installing my second 770 and now i'm on the nvidia control panel getting a message that says, APPLY CHANGES, close the program and click continue: (the programs it shows are "MainWindow" and "chrome.exe" I was able to close chrome via task manager and it disappeared off the list but I wasn't able to find any program that was titled "MainWindow"
SLI wont apply!

MainWindow is part of a browser application - in this case, probably part of Chrome that didn't close out properly when the application was closed. Try restarting your computer first then go to the nVidia control panel and selecting SLI. It will probably give your the "close the program" message again, but maybe without the MainWindow listed. If it is listed again and no browsers or browser applications are listed in the Applications tab, you may need to look for it in the Services tab.
I figured it out, here's what i did: I looked in task manager again and in the top tasks i ended a task that has the same picture as Main Window but had a different name, App cent. After ending that and chrome it worked
