Good Intel i5 CPU for gaming?

I'm looking for a CPU for gaming... I currently have on my list the Intel i5 4690K, for $209. But is there any other version I could get for cheaper and is as good as the 4690K? Like the 4570 or 4570S or the other core i5 's.

The 4570 is great if you don't plan to over clock stay far away from the s version. If you do want to over clock but want cheaper get a 4670k

The 4690K is a great cpu - very fast and if you do OC it is even faster. You do not get something for nothing - wait if you OC you kinda do.;-)

The 4670K is about the same and a bit cheaper, if you go that route rather than the 4690K make sure you get the Z97 mobo, that way you have a upgrade available to Broadwell CPUs when they are released
