if you can rewire molex / can run ac power to them from your wall, go for strip. its generally better then fans for lighting.

I'd buy this instead .... it already comes with LED strips that change color and a control system to handle them and LED fans ... plus an fan controller (PWM control for 11 3-pin fans)

Other things ya might consider.... you prolly have yaself zeroed in on what ya want so can ignore.....but in case ya didn't consider any of this.... wiorth taking a peek.

1. V8 doesn't perform so hot ...er ..... better said, yeah it runs hot
7.1 rating http://benchmarkreviews.com/4608/cooler-master-v8-gts-1...
9.5 rating http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Phanteks/PH-TC14PE/7...

2. The tall memory is likely gonna hit both coolers, stick to low profile. faster, cheaper, low profile ... won't hit anything
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

3. Raptors have high failure rate and not top dog. Twice the storage, half the price with built in SSD ...oh and 14% faster

4. With what ya saved there, you could upgrade to Twin 780s ...wait cupla weeks to see if the 880s drop and either card will be $100 or more cheaper....if ya overclocking the cards twin 780s are faster than twin 290x's

5. The EVGA G2 850 watter is just fine for twin 290x's or twin 780 Tis overclocked.

6. Phanteks fans are best available performance to noise ration and come in various LED colors

7. If ya got money left, rather than an air cooler, I'd suggest the Swiftech 220-X water cooler..... it's not a CLC (closed loop cooler) tho it is an AIO (all in one) .... you can open it ip to watercool GFX cards, MoBo whatever ya want. It's 20 dbA quieter than most CLCs and tops every other AIO and air cooler out there.
