Loud startup, clicking, unresponsive. GPU? PSU?

My computer makes a great deal more noise recently (an engine-like rattle). I suspected a dying fan, but further inspection suggests it is either the graphics card or power supply. This may be unrelated, but it also occasionally clicks loudly and becomes unresponsive. This continues until I power down. I understand there are thousands of other details needed to make a proper diagnosis, but if anyone has an idea where to start (or if there's any one issue at the nexus of these symptoms) I would be grateful to hear.

My psu used to click really loudly and rapidly right before it died. Its most likely that. Also, check that all your cpu/gpu temps are good and make sure nothing is blocking any fans.
