Also should i get an Asus or MSI mobo?

I'd wait until September for the dGPU purchase, and either get a massively reduced in price GTX 780 or a new GTX 870/880.

Should do, one take a x1 lane and one takes a x16 lane, though after a little reading, I do suggest using a USB 3.0 adapter because it allows the use of a x16 lane instead of a x8 lane for the GPU.
