Well, you might need to change the PSU in that case, which will not only void the computer's warranty, basically requires rebuilding the whole computer. At that point, it makes WAY more sense to build a computer.

The 750ti won't be maxing anything. It is good for medium/high at 1080p.

I'm not a "hardcore" gamer i just like to play those 3 games i listed and chill with some friends and just have an enjoyable experience on the game. I don't want something that's gonna lag bad, just something that looks good and feels comfortable. I have only had laptops in my life so i mean it should be better than a laptop right, haha. and its going to crap, the fan broke and it shuts off randomly when overheated.

If you are planning on overclocking, and upgrading your gpu down the road, I would probably go for the 2nd build. If you want a balanced rig right now, and plan on just replacing the whole thing as a unit later, the first build.

You are thinking too much about the CPU, when the GPU does 80% of the work when gaming. An i3 with a gtx760 would BLOW AWAY all those systems in any game.

You are not understanding. Even a $1000 x99 chipset i7 won't run crysis 3 at more than lowest settings when paired with an an r9 250x. Plain and simple.

The CPU only starts to matter when you have higher end GPUs.

A $100 i3 and a gtx760 will run ANY GAME 2-4x better than a $1000 i7 and an r7 250x will. Just how it works.
