So I'm curious my computer used to use around 3-3.6gbs of ram just idling(chrome and steam are open) and about 4.5 when gaming and such. Ever since I installed my new 7870 and got a second monitor my pc uses about 5.5gbs of ram idleing(chrome and steam are open), and when gaming upwards of 6.5 - 7gbs. Is it possible the second monitor is causing this? It's no big deal, I'm just curious but if worse comes to worse I can drop in another set of this ram when black friday hits and I can get it for a good deal.
