I want to make this rig.. but I have a Saphire Radeon 6850 HD with me.. Can i use it? or do i need to buy a new graphics card also?? I want to run latest games such as Battlefield 5, Fifa 15, COD, etc on high/ultra settings.

all is fine
but i can give you options
i5 4590
asrock h87m pro4

for GFX card buy a r9 270x or GTX 660 ti if you want high or ultra settings on that games
and there is no BF5, i think you meat BF4: hardline
they are about to be release at sept upto nov
games are COD:advance warfare
GTA V, FarCry4, sims 4, AC: unity and the crew ,.. etc

I know that 660 or 270x // that what i was considering.. but with the suggestions u mentioned 4590 asrock pro4 and RADEON 6850 HD can I run games on high settings or ultra?? Is my Radeon 6850HD of any use?

Its a good gaming build. But 6850HD is good for high/med settings only.

high/ultra settings is a gpu job.

both i5 3550 and i5 4590 are good enough for any gaming build: with 6850HD for high/med settings or my friend´s build w/ GTX780 for ultra settings.

BF: hardline and COD:AW requires atleast 660 ti or 270x to play them on ultra (about 35-40fps) Hi (45-55fps)
if you willl get RADEON 6850 HD you can only get a low (35-45fps) to medium(30-35fps)settings

Note: fps were only predicted by me

I don't understand... what do you mean by upto date its BIO ??

my answer is no, it doesnt effect gaming performance
IMO the major differences of Mobos are features and count of ports

lets say you bought an i5 4450 and B85M
seems that i5 requires newest chipset, you should update the bio first by running it on different processor that meets requirement of chipset, when update is succesful, you can now run the i5 & B85M.
it still doesnt affects gaming
