My internet recently started dropping while playing games. For instances, while i play Counterstrike after a random amount of time i drop connection. The connection drop doesnt stick either so after i DC im able to leave game and enter moments later. This isnt the only game it occurs with either. Im assuming it has to do with the IP packets BUT ive never had this issue until 3-4 days ago.

Can you list your system specs? Did anything change (updates, hardware, software, etc) around the time it started happening? Are you using a store-bought router or just a modem that your ISP gave you? Check the settings for your ethernet/LAN device and make sure "Allow computer to turn this device off to save power" isn't enabled
Edit: Also check event viewer System and Application logs and see if there are any strange entries around the time of day that a disconnect occurs
