Hi Guys,

I am new to this site so my apologies if I posted this thread under the wrong tag, but I need some help with regard to building a PC Desktop.

So I have done a bit of research on PC Parts, what I require, cost etc, and have come up with an idea for a build. I put together a system build on PC Parts Picker:

http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/JLGMMp

This is what I have come up with so far with regards to what I want my PC to have. I was just wondering if anyone could let me know their thoughts on the build and any suggestions for improvements (I'm thinking of upgrading to an 8GB RAM).

Also I have a couple of queries to which I need some help:
- Does this system have an ethernet port in it for internet connection or do I have to buy a separate attachment?
- Do I need to purchase a sound and a video card, or are they already incorporated into it?
- Do I need a CPU cooler or is it built in?
- Do I ned a case fan or is it built in?

Thank you guys I really appreciate any help or suggestions you throw my way.

1. Sound card no, for gaming, you need to get a dedicated card but if you plan on working on it the cpu will come with a integrated graphics
2.You will need a cpu cooler, the cpu comes with one but since AMD chipsets tend to get very hot, a cheap aftermarket cooler like the hyper evo 212 is recommended
3. Most cases come with at least 1 or 2 fans

Firstly you should strongly consider spending the extra $40 on an A8 instead of an A6, it's quad core vs dual core and the difference would be noticeable in pretty much everything.
- It comes with an ethernet port
- Video card is built into the CPU, sound ports are on the motherboard. No additional purchase needed
- No need to buy a separate cooler unless (until) you have heat issues, the CPU comes with one
- Most cases come with at least one fan
